Why I ditched the SLR and went Mirrorless

For many years I was a Canon SLR camera user and had amassed a nice collection of professional 'L' lenses but over time, all this kit proved to be a burden to carry especially whilst travelling abroad due to the weight.

With the arrival of the Fuji X-T1 Compact Mirrorless Camera with inter-changeable lens system, I decided to sell (almost) all my Canon gear and go to the Fuji system, based on the strength of reviews and accounts of many "Pros" abandoning their trusted SLRs to go Mirrorless.

I have since upgraded to the Fuji X-T2 as my primary camera and keep the Fuji X-T1 as a backup camera.
